In April of 1965, a group of men holding forth similar ideals and beliefs joined together for the purpose of founding a new social fraternity on the campus of Wisconsin State University-Platteville. Following their strong feeling to strengthen personal integrity, enhance social awareness, further scholastic achievement, and achieve a better understanding of their fellow man; the group drafted a constitution. The Greek letters, Phi Alpha Psi, symbolic of their belief were chosen for the name of the Fraternity. Finally on May 26, 1965 after many weeks of hard work, the constitution was approved and signed by the seventeen charter members...
The members of Phi Alpha Psi come from all academic disciplines. the interests and activities of the brothers are varied as can be seen from their campus involvement...
Each pledge class performs a community project, a fund raiser, a social function and a project for the chapter house...
Phi Alpha Psi is a fraternity with a limited past, but a unlimited future. Our future plans include acquiring our own fraternity house.
